The City of Cambridge is a part of the Regional Municipality of Waterloo, located at the confluence of the Grand and Speed rivers. The city had a population of 129,920 as of the 2016 census. Aside from the city’s sustainability action plan, they have prepared a Climate Adaptation Plan to take action. The purpose of climate adaptation planning is to identify where existing and planned buildings, infrastructure, programs, and services could be vulnerable to future change.
