Kitchener-Wilmot Hydro is a Electric utility company based in Kitchener, is governed by senior leadership team and Board of Directors, and is regulated by the Ontario Energy Board (OEB). Kitchener-Wilmot Hydro is responsible for providing a safe, reliable supply of electricity for more than 96,000 homes and businesses across Kitchener and Wilmot Township, their service territory spans 425 square kilometers. Wilmot Hydro recently became an observing member of Sustainable Waterloo Region’s Regional Sustainability Initiative they are also members of Climate Action Waterloo Region.Through this program, they collaborate with local municipalities, non-profits, community members and other organizations to work on a region-wide Climate Action Plan.
